Lately I’m administering quite a few blogs to promote my own website, wordpress based blogs are obvious and easy choice for me, so far we all agree that wordpress is ideal for almost all kinds of blogging needs, people even use it as CMS, together with Open Source License make the WordPress the most famous and versatile blogging software of all time.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, then I can use established and fully owned blogs to advertise other websites, this is not something new, there are a lot of blog networks out there doing just that, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, and I have no way to post to those blogs, its easy to understand that the price on those networks won’t be cheap.
If you have tried to maintain a few different blogs you will know its not easy, if you don’t like garbage on your blogs, to put real content on your site won’t be an easy job, remember real value is always difficult to achieve. There are some interesting examples, look at this one, cargo bungee, the domain name is pretty good, and there are a lot of interesting articles on it, without a clear theme, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. Here is another one, Trucking Experiences, this blog is themed, the content on the this site has a theme, quite a few keywords rank well for this site. there are more sites like these out there, but the basics are all the same. Last but not least, you should build some casual blogs, let them get some content occasionally, such as this blog, US Tie Down Strap, this will make a blog network more like naturally built blog groups.
If you have a few established blogs already, add more blogs when you can, then use the established blogs to promote the new ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. It sounds pretty simple, but it won’t be easy to build even a tiny blogging network, follow the professional recommendations and ethic codes of online conduct you will be fine.
